Where can I park?
Canada Place has a large underground parkade. The entrance is on 97 Street.
What are your hours of operation?
We are open Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30pm. We are closed on all federal holidays.
Do I need to wear anything special?
Don't wear a white or very light coloured shirt. Wear something bright or dark that will show up well against the white background.
Can I wear a hat or other head covering?
Only if you wear it for religious reasons. And remember that a dark or brightly coloured one will show up better against the white background.
Can I wear glasses in the photo?
We ask everyone to remove their glasses. Our aim is to give you a photo that is guaranteed to be accepted and in our experience, photos with glasses are seldom accepted by the Passport Office as they want to see your eyes clearly, without glare or distortion.
Can I wear make-up or jewelry?
Yes, as long as it's not shiny or sparkly.
Do I need to wear my hair in a certain way?
No, but we must be able to see the full size and shape of your face including your eyebrows.
Can I wear a wig?
Yes, if you wear it on a regular basis.
I have a criminal record. Can I still get a passport?
Yes, however even with a valid passport you may still be denied entry into some countries. You should contact a consulate of the country you wish to visit.
Can my husband or wife be my guarantor?
Yes, as long as they have a valid Canadian passport.
Do babies need passports?
Yes.
Can you take photos for infants?
Yes, it's our specialty.
Do you guarantee your photos will be accepted by the passport office?
Yes.

You can get them from us, from the passport office, from most post offices or on-line at www.ppt.gc.ca
I need a photo with a 'royal blue' background. Can you do that?
Yes, we have many different coloured backgrounds.
I need photos with no watermark on the back for my UK passport. Can you do that?
